JoeI’m a first time buyer but since we haven’t found anything due to low inventory, I’d imagine real estate agents are hurting because of low inventories? If there are less transactions, there are less opportunities to earn money.
So real-estate agents, have you been hurt by the low inventory?
January 28, 2013 at 1:31 pm #25711It definitely is tough out there right now. I have a lot of buyers right now with nothing to show them. It’s hard to say exactly how much I or anyone else has been hurt, but it is absolutely true that there would be a lot more transactions and paychecks if there were more homes for sale.

Tom StoneYes, agents need transactions to generate commissions. Our costs of doing business are always there, that’s reasonably smooth. The income is lumpy.
