Thinking of Selling in San Jose? Low Inventory in Silicon Valley =Offer Frenzy

I listed a home in Blossom Valley area of San Jose Monday. It is a toally original 1962 fixer, 3 beds 2 baths for 399k on a fairly busy street address 5989 Snell. My phone has been ringing every 10 minutes.I have had Buyers calling me and emailing telling me all about their struggles to find a home.One Buyer sent me proof of funds with their bank account info and personal info  and asked me to write the best offer for him.  I  have decided not to represent Buyers on this transaction. I am expecting several offers.

A home around the corner on Tandera ,listed for 450k had 40 offers.

I will keep you posted on what happens. We are reviewing offers after Monday evening.

    Chris, you priced it right. forty is more offers than you would get in Sonoma County, but I am seeing offers in the double digits.
